Mouse IL-8/CXCL15 ELISA Kit (Interleukin 8)
Full Name: Mouse IL-8/CXCL15 ELISA Kit (Interleukin 8)
Reactivity: Mouse
Sample Type: Biological Fluids, Serum, Plasma, Tissue Homogenates
Sensitivity: 9.375 pg/ml
INTRODUCTION
An individual of the CXC family of chemokines is interleukin 8. This is owing to the amino terminal region having two conserved cysteine residues that are only one amino acid apart from one another. CXCL15 is created from a precursor of 99 amino acids, which is subsequently changed into the mature form of 72 amino acids. Four non-glycosylated cysteine residues make up the mature form, which can be secreted. from cells or proteins. There is no change in the structure of IL-8 between different species. This is owing to the amino terminal region having two conserved cysteine residues that are only one amino acid apart from one another. IL-8 is involved in the inflammatory and immune responses of these cells.
As a novel biomarker of inflammation, IL-8 has also been said to be particularly helpful in identifying pulmonary conditions such chronic inflammatory and fibrotic lung illnesses. It is a crucial chemical messenger for triggering an active immune response since it has been discovered to be very effective at drawing basophils, neutrophils and T lymphocytes. Due to its consistent accuracy and efficacy, CXCL15 has been utilised frequently in the medical research community as a biomarker to gauge the severity of a specific inflammatory response. It can be used as a marker to control cardiovascular disorders and acute respiratory problems. This is supported by the findings that levels are elevated in both healthy individuals and those with an active infection.
INTENDED USE
Mouse IL-8/CXCL15 ELISA kit can be used for determining concentrations of interleukin-8 (CXCL15, IL-8, lungkine, Scyb15, Weche) present mouse in tissue homogenates, plasma, other biological fluids and serum samples.
