Bordetella Pertussis FHA IgG ELISA Kit

Human Bordetella pertussis FHA IgG ELISA kit is designed for in-vitro quantitative determination of human IgG antibodies to Bordetella FHA (Bordetella FHA-IgG) in serum or plasma. This assay has a minimum analytical sensitivity limit of 0.5 IU/ml.

Bordetella pertussis is the causative agent of whooping cough that is a gram-negative bacteria and pathogenic. Some of the virulence factors of B. pertussis are pertussis toxin, filamentous haemagglutinin (FHA), fimbria, tracheal cytotoxin and pertactin. FHA is a large beta-helical, highly immunogenic that can be either surface associated or secreted. It has a number of different attachment activities because of its multiple binding domain and it forms a major component for many new pertussis vaccines. For many diagnostic screening methods FHA is performed in combination with pertussis toxin.

All reagents supplied need to be stored at 2 °C – 8 °C, unopened reagents will retain reactivity until expiration date. Do not use reagents beyond this date.

  • Bordetella pertussis antigen coated microtiter strips.
  • Enzyme Conjugate.
  • TMB Substrate.
  • Stop Solution.
  • Sample Diluent.
  • Washing Buffer (10x).
  • Calibrator A (Negative Control).
  • Calibrator B (Cut-Off Standard).
  • Calibrator C (Weak Positive Control).
  • Calibrator D (Positive Control).

The minimum detection sensitivity level of IgG antibodies to Bordetella FHA (Bordetella FHA-IgG) using current human Bordetella FHA IgG ELISA kit was 0.5 IU/ml. The dynamic range for this assay is 25.0 – 250.0 IU/ml.

Your secretory IgA ELISA gave good results and I was also really impressed with how quickly we received it.

It is refreshing to know that you have a technical team that is very knowledgeable. I have already recommended your company to other researchers in our department.

I am a first time user and found that your instruction manual was very easy to follow. The insulin ELISA assay performed well and I was happy with the results that were generated.

I carried out a pilot study comparing the performance of many ELISA assay's from different suppliers and found your kits to be one of the better performers. We observed good linearity and tight replicates.

You are my first point of contact when I am looking to purchase ELISA. You have such an easy and simple system, yet it is very effective.
